An essay is presented on the ways in which the mainstream media in the U.S. has repressed disturbing images from the War on Terror. Particular focus is given to mondo videos which exploit shocking footage from worldwide events. Topics include insights on media from the September 11, 2001 World Trade Center terrorist attacks and an exploration as to why the media chooses to keep disturbing images of events from the public.
