    • Abstract:
The article presents the author's reflections on the issues of the September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attacks, the U.S.-led War on Terror, and the assassination of the Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden as of 2012 in U.S. popular and political culture. Comments are given discussing the significance and "meaning" of Bin Laden's death in 2011, including warnings against U.S. triumphalism or over-simplifying the narrative of "justice" regarding the 10-year conflict.
